Snake Summary Explanation in Hindi & English

In this post, I have explained summary of bseb class 12th English poetry section lesson 9 ‘ Snake of Myself’ in Hindi & English.

The poem ‘Snake’ has been composed by D. H. Lawrence. In this poem he tells about a snake.

प्रस्‍तुत कविता साँप को डी. एच. लौरेंस के द्वारा संकलित किया गया है। इस कविता में वह एक साँप के बारे में कहते हैं।

        One day, the poet felt thirsty. He came out to drink water. He saw a snake coming to drink water there. The snake looked good, silent and peaceful. See its politeness, the poet did not become afraid at all. But after some time he decided to kill it.

एक दिन कवि को बहुत प्‍यास लगी थीफ वह पानी पीने के लिए बाहर निकले। उसने एक साँप देखा, जो वहाँ पानी पीने के लिए आया था। साँप अच्‍छा और सांत  दिख रहा था। उसके विनम्रता को देखकर, कवि थोड़ा भी नहीं डरे। लेकिन कुछ समय बाद उसने इसे मार देने का निर्णय लिया।

        He picked up stick and hit the snake. It felt pain. But it moved its body and went into the hole of the ground. 

उसने एक छड़ी उठाया और साँप को मारा। उसे दर्द हुआ, लेकिन उसने अपने शरीर को खींच लिया और जमीन के अंदर के होल (छेद) में घुस गया।

        Now the poet did not want to kill. He began to repent for his deeds as it looked simple and innocent. He wanted to see again.

अब कवि उसे नहीं मारना चाहते थे। उसे अपने किए पर पाश्‍चाताप होने लगी। वह उसे साधारण और निर्दोष दिखने लगा। वह उसे फिर देखना चाहते थे।
