2.  Song of Myself (स्‍वयं पर गीत)

       ‘Song of Myself’ is a beautiful poem composed by Walt Whitman.

      ‘अपने आप पर गीत’ एक सुंदर कविता है जिसे वाल्‍ट वाइटमैन के द्वारा संकलित किया गया है।

      In this poem, he tells about himself. He enjoys himself. He sings for himself. He is not different from others. He says that every atom of his blood belongs to his soul. He asks all to accept the truth. Whatever he says comes from his heart. According to him, life is not a bed of roses. It is a blend of both- hardship and happiness. Life is the best gift of God.

      इस कविता में वह स्‍वयं पर बात करते हैं। वह स्‍वयं आनंदित होते हैं। वह स्‍वयं के लिए गाते हैं। वह दूसरों से भिन्‍न नहीं है। वह कहते हैं कि उनके शरीर का प्रत्‍येक परमाणु उनकी आत्‍मा से संबंधित है। वह सभी से सत्‍य को स्‍वीकार करने के लिए कहते हैं। जब भी कभी वह कुछ कहते हैं तो अपने दिल से कहते हैं। उनके अनुसार जीवन गुलाबों का बिस्‍तर नहीं है। यह सुख और दु:ख दोनों का मिश्रण है। जीवन ईश्‍वर का सबसे बड़ा उपहार है।

      He says that many people fight for religion. But it is not good. He believes in the betterment of the world. So he advises us to be happy and make others happy.

      वह कहते हैं कि कई लोग धर्म के लिए लड़ते हैं। जो सही नहीं है। वह दुनिया के भलाई में विश्‍वास करते हैं। इसलिए वह सभी को सलाह देते हैं कि खुश रहो और दूसरों को खुश रखो।
